From specification through to delivery.
We holistically review the packaging across your warehouse operation – the box, the film around the pallet, the protection inside and any identified gaps. Corrugated and pallet wrap are the primary focus and typically where we find the majority of the value lies, but we advise on and supply across the full spectrum of packaging products.
Two decades of solutions-led packaging.
Consult. Design. Deliver.
Consult
Our audit begins with a walk through your warehouse and comes back as an itemised, actionable document including current spend across the packaging you use, where damage originates, what's over-specified and what the right specification would save.
About our audits →
Design
Every specification is developed from your product's requirements: weight, dimensions, fragility, storage conditions, transit journey. Materials are value engineered, supported by data and testing, so the specification is proven and you come away comfortable you're not paying for protection the product doesn't need.

Do you know how much a damaged item is costing your business?
Most businesses count the replacement product. Fewer count the second delivery, the administration and the customer who doesn't return. A recent UK study puts the national bill for damaged deliveries above £2.5 billion a year, with the average retailer spending £7,646 a month dealing with damaged parcels. Where these figures come from.

What types of packaging does Floryn supply?
We supply the packaging used across a warehouse operation. Boxes and pallet wrap are our specialisms, and around them almost anything else in the packaging ecosystem: void fill, tapes, labels, mailing bags, edge protectors and shrink wrap. We also produce litho-laminated packaging from our sister site.
What does the free packaging audit involve?
We come to your site and walk the process with you: product in, how it gets packed, product out. We look at each SKU's packaging against what the product actually needs – weight, fragility, the transit journey it makes, how long it sits in storage. You get back an itemised report showing what you are spending now, what the optimal specification looks like and what the difference is worth. It costs half a day of our time and nothing of yours, and there is no obligation at the end of it.
We already have a packaging supplier. Why would we talk to you?
Most of our first conversations are with businesses who are reasonably happy with their current supplier. The audit is free and the findings are yours to keep, whatever you decide to do with them. Plenty of people use it as a benchmark, and if your current setup is already well optimised we'll tell you that rather than manufacture a reason to switch.
Do you offer packaging design and specification advice?
Yes, and it's central to how we work rather than a service bolted on. Our team will review your existing packaging or develop new specifications from scratch. We assess the product requirements – weight, fragility, transit journey, storage conditions – and recommend the right materials, construction and consumables, with the reasoning set out so you can evaluate it properly.
What are your minimum order quantities?
Product dependent, but for boxes we pride ourselves on flexibility for short runs, so MOQs can start from 200 units depending on specification and product type. That makes seasonal variants, limited editions and range extensions straightforward rather than something we've to make an exception for. If your volumes don't fit the thresholds a larger supplier sets, that's usually the reason to talk to us.
How quickly can you quote?
We aim to quote within 24 hours as standard.
Why do you split pallet wrap out as a focus area from other consumables?
Because of the deep expertise in the business, and because it's where we find money leaks quietly. Film gets bought on the price of a roll, which tells you very little, and almost nobody measures what it actually costs to wrap a pallet. We quote per pallet wrapped so the comparison with your current film is on the number that matters. Most operations are also over-wrapping without knowing it – blown film outperforms cast, so a pallet taking fifteen wraps today may only need eight. And we don't sell virgin film. Everything we supply carries a minimum of 30% recycled content, which keeps it clear of the Plastic Packaging Tax threshold and reduces the plastic going out of your door.
Our damage rate is only a few percent. Is that worth looking at?
Most businesses can't tell us their damage rate at all, and the ones who can tend to describe it as small. The reason it goes unexamined is that nobody puts a value on it. Once you cost out investigating, returning and crediting a single damaged item, a rate that sounds tolerable can turn into a very large annual number. Do you know what a damaged item costs your business? If not, that's usually the first thing our audit answers.
How will EPR affect our packaging costs, and can you help?
Extended Producer Responsibility ties what you pay directly to the weight and recyclability of the material you put on the market, so specification decisions are now cost decisions in a way they weren't before. We model the EPR impact of every specification we recommend, per unit, per SKU and across your portfolio, using the current published rates. The useful part is that lighter, better-designed packaging reduces the fee and the material cost at the same time.
Do you manufacture yourselves, or use suppliers?
Both, and we're straightforward about which is which. We manufacture a broad range ourselves and use established suppliers for the rest, built up over more than two decades in the industry. What matters from your side is that the specification, the quality standard and the accountability sit with one team either way, and you're dealing with the same people whichever route the work takes.
How does Stock & Serve work?
We hold your packaging in our warehousing network and deliver on demand with agreed notice. Your account manager confirms what is held and when each delivery is due, so nothing depends on you chasing it.
What certifications does Floryn hold?
We hold FSC chain of custody certification, licence code FSC-C109654, which covers the corrugated we supply and allows FSC-certified board to be specified where you need it. Certificates are available on request.
